"KOZENIYA"'s clerk will take you to your room.
When you arrive to your room, you 'll take off your shoes, and go into your room.
(Walk on the Tatami mats(Japanese floor) without shoes.Tatami mats are always kept
clean and dry.
If you see a Zabuton(Square cushion),sit down on it and sample the green tea that the
"Nakai san (maid)"serves.
you should never put your baggage in the Tokonoma (alcove), It is a sort of spiritual
focus for the room and is normally decorated with pictures and flowers.
While enjoying your green tea, discuss with the Nakaisan(maid) the schedule or dinner ,bathing and breakfast.
Look around and locate the Yukata(cotton robe). It is folded and placed in a rectangular box or in a closet.
You can wear Yukata through out your stay while relaxing in your room, going to public
or private bath, or even taking a walk down the street !
Many people sleep in them as well.
If you feel chilly put on the HANTEN(woolen jacket.(about half -length of the Yukata and
normally placed with it)
Put on your Yukata and just relax or head for the public or private bath. You can take
a bath either before or after dinner or both.
